1. Information We Collect

Tanrr prioritizes your privacy. The information we may collect includes your general location (for real-time UV index and sunlight intensity data), your selected skin type (to ensure safe tanning and Vitamin D calculations), and basic usage metrics to improve the application. We do not personally identify you, and health data remains on your device where possible.

2. Screen Time APIs & Family Controls

Tanrr uses Apple's FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity for the user-controlled Morning Light lock feature. This feature is entirely wellness-oriented: you intentionally choose apps/categories to block, and complete an outdoor light check to release them. Tanrr does not use Screen Time APIs for parental surveillance, hidden monitoring, advertising, analytics, or third-party data sale. All lock coordination state remains strictly within your device's local App Group container.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected strictly for the core functionality of the Tanrr app, including:

• Calculating safe sunlight exposure times.
• Estimating Vitamin D production based on your location and skin type.
• Providing customized wellness tracking for your sun sessions.
• Locally syncing Morning Light lock choices across app targets for your own focus routines.

4. Requesting Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your data or revoke your consent at any time. Because most data is stored locally on your device via standard UserDefaults, you can delete this by simply uninstalling the application. 5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
